ABOUT US

Our academy, our coaches, and our beliefs

We are a soccer club for youth ages 3-17 in Brooklyn NY, Manalapan NJ, and Miami FL. At VIP Soccer Academy we value discipline, hard work, and sportsmanship. We help our students to develop soccer skills and achieve prime performance. We have experienced and licensed professional coaches that emphasize on motor and fundamentals skills.  We offer weekly soccer practices and soccer games on the weekend.  We challenge players to be their best in teamwork, perseverance, and decision making. We value both our players and family and always strive for our players' progress to succeed both academically and athletically. We teach our players to be respectful to their teammates, parents, family, and to be good citizens. ​ Our club is against unlawful discrimination of any form and kind, and against any use of violence. We conduct our business in a respectful manner and hold high expectations for our coaches, players, and families.

Founder & Coach

Alisher
Shaislamov

Alisher Shaislamov has many years of experience as a professional coach and soccer player in his home country of Kazakhstan and in the United States. As general manager and head coach of VIP Soccer Academy, his goal is to develop every player into a hard working, tactical, and serious player.  He also coaches for Kingsborough Community College men's soccer team.

Victor
Popovsky

Victor Popovsky is a highly talented coach and a former professional soccer player.  He has played for and coached many teams in the New York and New Jersey.  He currently plays soccer for the Brooklyn Italians and Juvenile Platenes over 50. In 2011 season, Victor was nominated coach of the year both for the Daily News and the New York Post.  He is also a recipient of the Metro Award for Special Recognition for helping student teachers succeed with their educational goals. Currently, he is the head coach of Grady High School and teaches Physical Education at P.S.321 in Park Slope. Victor holds a B.S. in Health and Physical Education as well as an M.S. in Exercise Science (Kean University).  He holds National “D” soccer coaching license. He is an adjunct professor at Kingsborough Community College as well as a coach for their soccer team.
